TGEN Feline Gastrointestinal Disease (FGD)-3 Antigen Rapid Test Kit

The TGEN Feline Gastrointestinal Disease (FGD)-3 Antigen Rapid Test Kit is a rapid diagnostic tool designed using multiple colloidal gold immunochromatographic technology. It can simultaneously detect antigens from three common gastrointestinal pathogens: feline panleukopenia virus (FPV), feline coronavirus (FCoV), and Giardia. High-affinity monoclonal antibodies specifically bind to the test antigens, forming a color line on the test strip that can be interpreted visually.

Production Features:

Covers major feline gastrointestinal pathogens
Simultaneous interpretation of one sample
Can recognize even low antigen levels
Supporting early intervention

Description

The entire process is simple and efficient. This TGEN Feline Gastrointestinal Disease (FGD)-3 Antigen Rapid Test Kit is suitable for rapid clinical diagnosis of digestive system symptoms in cats, such as diarrhea, vomiting, anorexia, dehydration, and fever. It is also widely used in various scenarios, including disease screening, population health monitoring, pre-vaccination testing, and disease efficacy evaluation. It is particularly valuable in veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, large cat households, and breeding institutions. The project was developed based on the increasing prevalence of feline gastrointestinal diseases and the trend of multi-pathogen cross-infection. Clinical symptoms are highly similar, but the pathogens vary widely. Traditional single-target testing is time-consuming and labor-intensive, hindering rapid early diagnosis. This product’s multiplex detection capabilities significantly shorten diagnostic timelines and improve targeted treatment. The three test targets have distinct pathological mechanisms: FPV attacks rapidly dividing intestinal epithelial cells and bone marrow hematopoietic cells, leading to severe hemorrhagic enteritis and immunosuppression; FCoV can develop into fatal feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) in some individuals; and Giardia adheres to the intestinal mucosa, causing persistent diarrhea and nutrient absorption impairment. These three agents can synergistically aggravate symptoms and increase the risk of infection. The TGEN FGD-3 test kit, centered on multi-target combined screening, simplifies the diagnostic process, improves detection accuracy, and provides strong technical support for timely disease control and the development of scientific treatment plans.

How to use?

Check the product contents and make sure the test operation is under the room temperature (15–30℃) before testing.
Unseal the extraction tube containing the buffer.Place the extraction tube in the workstation.
Use the swab to collect some fresh canine feces or fecal sample from its rectum. And then put the swab into the buffer.
Rotate the swab more than 10 times.Close the cap of the buffer tube.
Take the test device out of the aluminum foil bag and place it on a clean and flat table. Add three drops (about 90 μL) of specimen (mixed sample) vertically into the specimen well(S) of the test device.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
