Description
The ITGen Feline Herpesvirus Antigen Rapid Test uses immunochromatographic technology, designed for home testing. It detects feline herpesvirus antigens in samples to help cat owners quickly identify infections. If your cat starts sneezing, has red or watery eyes, or shows signs of upper respiratory discomfort, it may be more than just a common cold. Feline herpesvirus is a common cause of contagious feline respiratory disease. The ITGen Feline Herpesvirus Antigen Rapid Test offers a simple way for cat owners to screen at home using eye or nasal discharge. It’s especially helpful for multi-cat households, catteries, or newly adopted cats with mild but suspicious symptoms. Early detection at home helps guide whether to isolate the affected cat or seek timely veterinary treatment—reducing risk of spreading illness to other cats.
