DESIGN AND PRINCIPLE
For one sample testing, one key and one cartridge should be used together. The Key with immobilized Low Level Control (LLC), anti-cPL antibody, and High Level Control (HLC), is packaged in one aluminum foil bag with a desiccant. The matched cartridge contains all the necessary reagents that are deposited separately in the different compartments and sealed with a protective aluminum foil.
Briefly, deposit the serum sample in the top compartment 1 of the cartridge and mix well. Tear aluminum foil bag and take the Key out. HLC, anti-cPL antibody, and LLC can be observed as different discrete pink spots on the front end of the Key. Then insert the Key into the top compartment 1 and incubate it in top compartment 1 for a few minutes. After the incubation, the pink dye will disappear from the spots, which indicates successful specific antibody-antigen-antibody reaction finished. Then the Key will be transferred to the remaining top compartments at timed intervals step by step. The bounded specific cPL antigens on the spots will be labeled in the top compartment 3, which contains enzyme conjugate and the final results presented as purple-blue spots on the Key will be developed in the top compartment 6, which contains substrate.
For a satisfactory result, wash steps are introduced. In the top compartment 2, the unbounded cPL antigen and other substances within the serum sample will be removed. In top compartment 4 and 5, the unbounded or excess enzyme conjugate will be adequately eliminated. At the end, in the top compartment 7, the excess chromogen developed from substrate and bounded enzyme conjugate in the top compartment 6 will be removed.
To confirm the validity of a performance, purple-blue color should be visible on HLC and LLC separately after finishing a successful testing process.
